 Mpo (Mrs) Yana is very bussy to serve nasi uduk to her costumer
every morning ant her warung (stalls).
 Nasi Uduk is an Indonesian style steamed rice dish originally from Jakarta, Indonesia's capital. It has a fragrance aroma and cooked with coconut milk and different kind of herbs and spices. The taste is quite similar to Nasi Lemak in Malaysia, Brunei or Singapore.

Nasi uduk is a popular dish for the busy commuters in Jakarta, mainly because it's both affordable (one serving costs on average Rp5000,- or about $0.50).

Ketoprak Jakarta

Ketoprak is a typical street-food. It was originally popular around the Jakarta.

Its consists of ketupat (rice steamed in a coconut leaf), tofu, sliced cabbage, mihun (thin rice noodles), sprouts, chips and a sauce made from ground peanut and palm sugar made into a thick paste, mixed with chilli, salt, garlic and also sweet soybean ketchup. It is sold in individual portions from small stalls or carts along the street. Buyers may request that the dish be mild, medium or spicy.
